At that time, our babies’ car sear/stroller blankets were an absolute staple in our lives. how do you keep your kids warm without needing to remove those heavy winter coats? Time to show your DIY skills to help the younger parents we know out a little bit by making them their own car seat blankets! Instead of simply buying them a blanket from the store as a shower gift, but we always feel a better sense of satisfaction when we’ve made something ourselves. We also like to think that it conveys our love for our friends a little more clearly. Becky from U Create shares a tutorial over at Riley Blake Designs showing how to make a swaddling blanket that fits in a car seat. There are holes cut for the straps so baby can be wrapped up inside the blanket while riding in the car. There are also two versions from EU, with patterns free available.
